昨日六本木で、真相究明を求めるデモがあったそうだ。

スラジュ氏は成田発カイロ行き飛行機の機内で暴れたため、付き添いの入国管理官に取り押さえられ、その後死亡したという。

An autopsy failed to determine the cause of death. It found no external injuries, bone fractures or internal disorders that could have led to his death.

But the Asian People's Friendship Society, a support group that organized Monday's protest, said on its Web site that the immigration officers put a towel into Suraj's mouth as they tried to subdue him, and he died shortly afterward.

Suraj's widow said she is considering filing a damages suit against the government over his death. "I have yet to receive any apologies. I want to know what happened," she said.

解剖の結果死因は明らかにならなかった。彼の死につながるような外傷や骨折、内臓の異常は見つからなかったという。しかし、月曜のデモを組織した支援団体によると、スラジュ氏を取り押さえようとした入国管理官は彼の口にタオルを押し込み、その後まもなく亡くなったという。スラジュ氏の未亡人は夫の死に関して政府を訴える予定だと語った。「私はまだ謝罪を受けていない。何があったのか知りたい」と語った。

なんちゅう後味の悪い事件。
